I'm possibly selling my 20" oem wheels to a guy with a 2024X P400 currently in stock 22s. He says he has "upgraded brakes" and wants to know if the wheels will fit. He says the brakes are "the same as in the v8s."

Anyone familiar with this?

They will fit. V8 models are available with the 20" wheels from the factory. P400s have six-piston Brembos in front, and the V8s have a slightly larger six-piston front Brembos. His brakes are not the exact same as the V8, though.

 

OEM 20"s and OEM 22"s 🤢 fit all Defenders. No exceptions. None.

Some P400s and possibly D300s that come with factory 22"s 🤢 come with the largest of the 3 brake rotor options. 20" is the smallest rim that will fit over the brakes on these, same applies to the V8s.
19"s fit all except the V8 and the P400/ D300 subset I mentioned
18" fit P300 D200 D240 D250 only.

FYI I have the 130X P400. With factory 22 inch wheels. I test fitted the LR Discovery 20inch wheels to use as winter wheels and they fit fine over the large front brake calipers. I doubt a 19 and certainly not 18 would fit. I expect even for 20inch the shape of the wheel barrel will matter as there isn't much clearance. But the LR 20inch wheels seem to fit fine
