The furniture wedge made the squeak go away for about a year, but it then came back. I replaced the wedge with a new one and added an additional one and it hasn't come back in over a year.

This "squeak" has been driving me bonkers for 2 years. I've ordered the wedges. Thanks for the suggestions!

If helpful, these are the ones I ordered on Amazon. The break off into short pieces - I used the thinner edge first.

Amazon Amazon

Game changer on the sound, the car feels much more solid to me now. I still have a tailgate rattle over heavier bumps but the dealer ordered some kind of part and is putting that in today.

I am also getting the sand against the windshield noise ... At around 80kmh it starts and does not stop...

so the sound is actually coming from inside the car??

I got mine fixed free at the dealership. They ordered a "4th gen" fix which was a completely new inner piece and a new external A-pillar cover that had to be painted to match my body color. And it worked.

I think there are people who have had external A-pillar issues, and people like myself that have had issues with the left-side dash. Might be worth trying those thin furniture wedges to see if they solve your problem. If not, at least you can rule that out!
