Anyone Received an Activity Key since June?

Anyway, I haven't taken an actual key fob with me since receiving the Activity Key 2 several months ago. I love the concept and just wish Land Rover had executed it a bit more "gracefully", considering how much they charge for the hardware, by designing a wristband that didn't look so cheap, clunky and plasticky. Maybe Activity Key 3 will address that.

@NoGaBiker - That to me is the most damning thing about JLR's focus in these times. That they aren't honoring the sequence of orders. I think they are intentionally trying to avoid the liability. They should send out a credit to anyone who has unfulfilled orders if they won't get them out.

Ordered my '22 with an activity key in early 2021. Didn't come with the activity key - dealer said it would come later. Called that fall and was told that activity keys were orderable and that I could purchase one. When I corrected the dealer to say that it was purchased but not received, they stated that the activity keys weren't available for existing orders.
Finally got a letter from JLR that keys were available. Had an appointment scheduled weeks in advance for the activity key. At the appointment, the dealer said: "we don't order parts in advance, we don't have the key or an ETA." They then changed their tune to say that they ordered it but it hasn't arrived (still no ETA). However, they didn't even bother to call to reschedule the appointment (which was specifically for "missing activity key)."
It's been a year and I still don't have an activity key. Exceptionally bad service from JLR.

I don’t guess I ever checked back in on my own thread. I did get the call sometime this year, late-winter or early-spring. Key was in. I made an appointment, they programmed while I waited, maybe took 40 minutes. It works as designed. I’ve had it maybe 4 months now. Used it zero times. I’m a watch guy and I can’t bring myself to just wear the AK around, when I can just as easily wear an actual watch and throw the fob in my pocket. In a world of ugly plastic digital watches the AK is exceptionally ugly. The only time I’ll wear it will be if I drive my bicycle to meet up for a group ride somewhere; it will be nice to not have to shove that giant fob in my jersey pocket. But I almost always ride to the start of my group rides so haven’t used it yet.
