Hi all,
I've ordered my first 110 coming in November and trying to educate and prepare myself for many years of fun with this great car.
I've read about the "frequent" need for disconnecting the battery to reset the computer when certain software related glitches happen.
Given the awkward location of the battery, under the passenger seat, has anyone installed a bettery disconnect switch in a more convenient location making it easier to disconnect powet when necessary?
Would that even work?

?? Have been on this forum for years. Not sure what you are referring to when you mention the need to ‘frequently disconnect the battery’. Don’t recall reading that. Some have mentioned a reset of the PIVI system, but that is done by holding down the power button. Similar to a hard reset of a smartphone. Don’t recall anyone disconnecting their battery. Share one of those posts for reference, please.

We keep one in both our Defenders. My wife even knows how to slide the passenger seat up and disconnect & reconnect the negative terminal. The power steering stopped working on a recent girls weekend away and she knew exactly how to get it back.
