Does anyone have a type pro - second battery holder for the new defender in the engine compartment.

Ralph from Sarek did put a second battery in the engine compartment for extra power during winching, he made a bracket for a small battery

By my knowledge it is best to : control this second battery by an charging inverter special for modern eu 5/6 cars
or use exact the same battery as the first ( not enough room in the engine bay )

We do one for mainly the reason above, however it does add to the total vehicle battery capacity, so I have noticed that I never get a "low battery start vehicle" warning anymore and also the engine cranks over much quicker. I think the extra 30aH and the location really offer a lot of benefits including the primary reason to protect the vehicle electrical system and winch while winching.
