Default Better MPG after last SOTA update?

As discussed in some other threads and videos, recently my P400 110SE updated itself without informing me. Went from 3.3.0 to 3.3.2. Fine by me, so long as I keep getting the updates, I am happy.

However, I recently noticed a substantial increase in the MPG numbers appearing in the Remote App. Went easily from an average of 19/19.5MPG to 22/23MPG in my normal commute. Did not change anything in my driving style, traffic is quite the same and I even tried to drive in "S" to see what would happen - got same very good averages.

Anyone having the same (good) surprise?

Have you manually calculated your fuel milage? If you have not changed anything it seems odd that you'd get about a 10-15% improvement. Perhaps they are calculating it differently and nothing has really changed?

Strange, I noticed today I got better mpg driving about 135 miles. It was all freeway driving at about 80 mph averaged 62 mph. My mpg today was 19.5 and I usually get about 17 + at that speed. I haven't checked my Remote app, but will see what that tells me.
I think it just got updated as I also noticed a difference on the screen for Android Auto.

I have not manually calculated. I will in the next fill up, but man if the remote app is accurate I am happy as a hippo. Today on both my commutes I got 24mpg in a 35 mile segment which I averaged a speed of 42mph. In the past my record was 20mpg if I was lucky.

My MPG hasn’t changed much since the update. I may have to actually track mileage through my trip computer to see if the vehicles numbers are accurate. Seems odd that mileage would get better without affecting performance and drivability in similar driving conditions.
