Default BF Goodrich K02 Tire Estimate Questions

Looking to upgrade from my Goodyear Wrangler Tires to K02s (K03s not available for the size I want) and obtained the quote below from a local shop. Two questions:

1. Do the charges look valid? Not sure what the TPMS Repair Kit is or if I even need it. Weights may be needed for balancing, but not sure if the valve stems are necessary. Tire costs are slightly higher than I'm seeing on other websites (only $4 more per tire), but have any of you gotten any promotions with your K02s? I see other manufacturers or models have sales such as buy 3, get 1 free or $100 Visa gift card with a minimum tire purchase, but can't seem to find any promotions for K02s at the moment.
2. My Defender is a 3 year lease and I have only 1,000 miles on the original Goodyear Wranglers. K02s are supposed to have a 50K mile warranty and I plan to have less than 20K miles on them before I return the Defender. Do I have the tire shop dispose of my tires and just return the car with the K02s? The other option is I keep the original tires, but that process seems to be a bit annoying (store 4 tires at my place for close to 3 years, pay labor to have them replace my K02s at the end of my lease, find someone to buy the used K02s).

Yes.

Don't you need 5 tires, not 4 though?

I paid around $1700 all in for 5 of them mounted, k02's.

Given that it's a lease, I don't think I'll really need to have my spare outfitted with K02. Would there be any issues if I were to be in an emergency situation to run 3 K02s and 1 Goodyear Wrangler?

Those tpms repair kits are for metal valve stem versions and are part of the standard replacement done to prevent leaks and corrosion. They shouldn’t be required for the rubber valve stem style but are always added by default these days. I don’t know that none of the Defender wheels use those but neither of my sets have them.

You might also review your lease agreement. Usually the agreements are pretty specific on what condition the tires need to be in upon Lease return. One odd tire of a different type and size might fail the return inspection. It is not advised to run different tire sizes from the spare and then swap in the spare that is a different tire size. All four driven tires need to be the same size at all times or you will/could cause damage to your Diffs. Your purchase choice would render the original size spare useless and defiantly not advised. At the very least save your four tires for when you need to return your lease and swap them back in upon lease return. That is if those OEM ties still have enough tread on them to pass return inspection. Info should all be in your lease agreement.

Be warned, if the K02s your getting are of a different diameter than your spare, you can cause damage to the drivetrain and transfer case. When you have different tire sizes, especially on opposite sides, it can cause a lot of binding in the drivetrain. This binding will put a lot of stress on the gears inside the transfer case.
