Absolutely. I drop it off tomorrow morning to finish outfitting. I should have it back Thursday afternoon and can post picts then.
I am interested to see if I will need an extender to make sure the rack clears the spare tire.
Yeah, I am worried about it clearing the tire as well, they make an extension so it shouldn't be an issue either way really.
On my Disco, the spare is offset so as long as I put the pedals on the other side of the tire, it doesn't cause an issue at all.
I have been daily driving a '98 Discovery for 17 years. I am going from that to the Defender! Can't wait. The Disco will get a well earned retirement in my garage for occasional weekend drives.
That's for the pics, looks good. On my wrangler I'm able to position my pedals just right to not need an extension. Was that just not possible, or not worth the hassle?

While I might have been able to get the bike/s on, I would not have been able to fold the rack up when not in use. I'm too paranoid to leave it down (without bikes loaded) at a trailhead.
Bike rack recommendation for 2x 60lbs Rad Rover ebikes
I currently have a Hollywood rack but it’s not long enough to clear the spare. I emailed the company and they said extenders would create weak spots and void the warranty. I emailed 1up to see if allow extenders to be used safely. Any other suggestions?
@erknyc My bike rack tilts but does not swivel. Unfortunately, when I use the upper receiver and tilt the rack down, I still cannot swing the rear door fully open.
