Black or body color for the “stamp” above rear wheel?
I don’t know what it’s called but there is a $200 option for the square panel above the rear tire where it can be gloss black or the body color of the vehicle. I’m driving myself crazy with trying to configure my ‘perfect’ D110. For some reason, I’m stuck on this fairly innocuous cosmetic option now that I’ve nailed down the rest of the actual important specs. On one hand, I like it because the body color stamp looks unique but then I also like how the black stamp blends with the black roof.
Anyway, I’m curious if anyone has wrestled with this or have any thoughts.
I personally really dont care for the body color upper elements on my particular colorway so I took it upon myself to change that. When I spec'd mine they didnt have the option to change the color of the square so I ended up badly wrapping it myself with some amazon vinyl warp. Combined with replacing the A pillar to a gloss black instead of body color I was able to get the floating roof aesthetic I was looking for.
All depends on the overall look you are going for.
I like mine with the body color (Godwana Stone) and body color roof... BUT I'm about to change mine up with a, wrap that has clear contour line stripes that will show through.
If you get black, it's a lot harder to change later. If you get body color and want, to change it, it's easy to wrap and make it disappear, or turn it into any number of cool accents.

I too wrestled over this option and then went with the body color - it looks great and helps tie in the color throughout. I have a Eiger Gray 110X with black roof and the color flows.
