Built in Air Compressor
Well I just bought the other one ! Thank you,
(the end of mine is slightly stripped from the sand in Moab, and it doesnt tighten down. I actually really like the hose - unlike the ARB hoses etc, they do not fail, good component (other than the brass end threads wear down)

So today I went back to the dealer I purchased my used Defender, talked to sales person, which told me, the coil hose doesn't come with the car?? really? and then parts department told me, if I want to get the hose, I need to purchase the whole package with the compressor, they do not sell it seperatly, it just blew my mind and I got very angry and left.
They also told me to go and find one from after market stores!! wow. so now I need to find it, if anyone has any info or have done it, please let me know. Thanks guys.

I had to replace the fitting on the hose that connects to the compressor because the fitting locked up with me - wouldn't lock to the compressor. It was always tight, so I told the dealer about it. They said it was a common issue. The nipple from the compressor doesn't stick out far enough. They had to go to an auto parts store to get a coupling/extender to go behind the covering to the compressor. I bought a new $7 connector for the hose, and all is good.
