Buying a Defender without a markup?

I got a P90 Dynamic HSE back in July of last year at sticker because of my relationship w/ the dealer having purchased 8 previous JLR cars from them. Drove it 5 months and got $10K over sticker for it at a Porsche dealership where I took delivery of a cayenne coupe I had ordered a year and a half ago. Drove the cayenne for 3 weeks and missed the Defender so sold the Porsche for 15K over sticker back to Land Rover and picked up a P90X which this time they made me pay $3K over (but saw other customers that day pay $15-20K over.
Not sure if the market will hold but it appears as of 3 weeks ago its still a pretty hot car market.
I asked my Porsche dealership what they did with my trade-in and they said they may have had it sold at $18K over sticker still (4K miles when I gave it to them) this week.
Went ahead and ordered another Defender in 110 and a Cayenne Coupe (body update next year) jjust for the heck of it because it’s basically free money and if it softens and you don’t take delivery its no biggie.

Last week I pickled up a new 2022 Defender P400 (approx 72 k sticker) for sticker as it rolled off the trailer. Was prepared to order and wait 4-6 months
The similarly equipped (same sticker Price) 6,000 mile Demo I test drove was asking 18k over the orig MSRP. (Yes the one in a separate thread)
Before signing on Friday I asked what's the best they'd do on the 6k mile demo we drove , he said they just turned down 8k over origi MSRP
On Monday when I picked up my new one, The Demo was sold

Ok, I had to look up Kahu Connected Car Technology. I landed on a definition: "Dealer add-on to rip off Land Rover consumers". If the dealer markup wasn't enough evidence, this gives you more. It has less "connected vehicle" tech than you get with the free Land Rover Remote app. All for $700 bucks! I imagine no one will be showing any customers at that dealership the technology features that come with it. That there is all the evidence I ever need that JLR has little to NO control over the (insert some sort of fornication profanity) brand abuse of their customers.

The black one is used also has a few scratches. I attempted to get them to drop but they wouldn't go below 160k so we walked. Apparently they are selling them very well at 100k markups. They also do not have any more allocations for the year according to them. I might just wait a few years and pick one up for 60k used after someone eats +100K on them lol.... Bummer because I need an off roader for some hobbies, I guess Bronco here I come...
