Default cant reach the seat belt

I have a one week old 2025 defender 90. I cannot reach around to grab the seat belt like I have on every other car I have owned for over 50 years. I normally would take my right hand, reach around and grab the seat belt, but I have ended up having to use my left hand and grab it from underneath. I hope I am not the only one that has this issue. If the belt was angled to the side I could reach it, but it points straight down. It really seems like a defect. Hope this even makes sense.

The B-pillar on the 90 is further back compared to the 110/130. Plus, the 90 has longer doors compared to the 110/130. I know what you mean, and this has always been the case on two-door vehicles unless they have an automated seatbelt that presents itself to you when you shut the door.

To your point, I've always used my left hand to grab the seatbelt. I naturally use the closest hand.

I've never really had this issue with my 90, but seems like a bunch of people must, b/c PowerfulUK makes a retaining clip for just this issue! Maybe you'll find it useful!

I also don’t have this issue personally but some times my passengers do. I have really long legs so I probably have the seat further back than most… related the D90 seems to have plenty of leg room for my relatively long legs.

It won't cost much at all, and it won't take very long to ship over. Powerful UK is a very reputable company, and the owners, Simon & Carol Jefferson are fantastic people. I personally spent a few hours with them during my trip to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Plus, they offer excellent customer support and informative videos on YouTube.

Simon, and PowerfulUK are a great company to deal with, I’ve bought many aftermarket accessories from them and have been satisfied with all of their products.
