Hope this helps.
That looks awesome! Will check them out – wondering how many bikes they can carry.

Mountain... and this looks super! Is there a way to open the back door with this in place? If yes this would be the winner for me.

You'd also need a pivoting hitch adapter. Kuat Pivot for example, but there's several other companies making them too.

Can you still open the back door with the bicycle mounted? If not how do you work around it?
Not really with bikes on the rack, even if you drop the rack down. You could try a swing-away style mounting arm, and I do use one of those (RakAttach) with my 1UP rack, but pivoting the 90 lbs of extended Thule rack plus four bikes on it is going to put a lot of strain on that system. The RakAttach is rated to carry 275 lbs though, so I guess it should work.

I didn't bother with a pivot. I have no need for one as I only put bikes on when headed to a biking spot and then back home.

If I was buying anew I'd get the 1UP 4 bike rack and Kuat HiLo extender that I already have.

I’m a long time 1up owner and fan, but I would actually go with a vertical hitch rack if I wanted to carry four bikes. The 1up is fantastic, but I dont like to carry any more than three bikes on it because it ends up sticking out too far. The kuat is even worse. I would go for one of these for four or more. https://www.velocirax.com
