Has anyone thought of using this coolant?

The Peak PINK (EU), as well as the Peak U.S. Orange, both seem to meet the stated requirements.

Stopped into O'Reillys for a gallon of this today. Seems to meet all the requirements. Seems like there are now plenty of options with updated fitment details. This fits.

I've always liked the Pentosin product line. For the Defender, it would be Pentofrost SF.

What’s wrong with the cheap $10 gallon at Walmart that “fits all makes and models”. I used it in my l322 Range Rover for years with no trouble.

I've never heard of a universal coolant that's appropriate for all makes and models. I thought the manufacture specs driving formulations were mutually exclusive. I'll have to swing by Walmart to check this out.

Gavin looking for some coolant locally to top off to get it to the dealer. I'm leaning towards using this stuff. I'm assuming you did as well. All was well? No issues when you finally made it to the dealer?

Yep. All good. Never had anything done at the dealer. It got a glug there a couple of times but I've not needed any in about a year.

I suspect (and this may be a dumbass theory) that there was some burping of the system under more demanding situations that was self limiting. I dare not speak too soon but it's been stable at my max line ever since I topped it off last time. The amounts added were very small each time. I'd estimate less than 500ml total added.
