D90/110 headlight covers....Opinions

Thanks @GrouseK9 I picked these up as well and when I recently laid them over the headlights, they seemed too long (extend slightly past the trim). Didn't know Lucky8 had posted instructions yet, I will have to check the support page out (I and I have not reached out to them yet).
Would love to see some pics when you have a chance.

None to date. I've had it for a few weeks using in day/night/dry/wet. I have the Matrix DRL and have noticed no impact to it. The lights work great at night in rural Texas, highways & urban. I haven't noticed any shadowing because of them. I think the 1/2 moon shape is actually below the main LED "module" so no problems there. I haven't had them on and looked at them from the other end, but I suspect I won't even notice them. For the record, I believe I have heard that the monitoring to control the lights actually come from behind the rear view mirror and not down in the headlights themselves. I could be wrong there.

How did you get matrix lights in the US? I thought they were not US govt approved and not even available on US models.

BTW, my replacement headlight after bird strike is coming to over $5000, and I’m still waiting for the parts to come in going on several months now.
Chris is brilliant with his responses and his customer service 🙏🏼 It’s quite refreshing to see these days!
regarding the headlight covers, I think they’re a superb additional, and was about to push the button on them (especially when I saw a post about a bird flying into a Defender headlight and it was over £1100 to replace……and they’re on back order too 😞🤦♂️ ) but noticed you can’t fit them if you have headlight washers unfortunately 😣
I’d even be tempted to remove the fuse on them and fit the covers to be fair!

Once this shortage nonsense is over, resale for these trucks is going to be horrific. It's utterly absurd how much it costs for repairs on a vehicle that starts at $50k.

Good point @Tartan . I think (rather thought) I had them. As you point out, I may very well not. Not trying to be a poser, just literally don't know. In most posts, I put a disclaimer of "think". Any way to tell from my specs? Well, there is the fact I'm in the USA so if what you write is true - that would be an definitive "NOT".
