Default Data plans canceled by JLR under the same account

This may sound like a repeat of an older post, where the topic was how most of us have been greeted by a 500$ offer to renew the data plan on earlier Defenders, or else !
Well, I did not took this "amazing" offer from JLR and let it pass. Other than remote lock and unlock, I do not miss anything.
However, under the same account, I have another JLR product, a Discovery 5 , 2022. It has another year until the expiration date.
JLR cut that vehicle also on the same day with the Defender. No explanation, just the same exact email which I got for the Defender.
So my 2 cents advice is that if you have multiple vehicles under the same account, be aware of this situation.

You should not have lost remote lock and unlock - that's not part of the $500 Online Pack and Wifi Hotspot Plan.

YOUR ONLINE PACK SERVICES

If you decide not to renew this service, you’ll no longer have access to:
  • Online Pack + Wifi Hotspot- Includes Amazon Alexa integration and access to personalized content from Spotify, Deezer, Tunein with Online Media
Existing services associated to your Remote subscription, such as your Land Rover Remote App, SOS Emergency Call, and Optimised Land Rover Assistance, will remain active on your vehicle.

Greetings.
You are totally right. However, the app had to be reset - I had to "create a new account" with the same email....odd.
On both vehicles I got the same messages on my welcome screen that my data has expired. I understand the Defender, however, the Disco is not right to have lost it.

I have a 2025 on order and didn't add the wi-fi data plan. will I be impacted on anything? my current LR has a chip for internal satellite NAV which has been way better than my phone based NAV - hope they are not charging for NAV!? I won't use any phone based "lock/unlock" app if it's for a fee. I have 4 key fobs with my current LR and would rather buy that "activity band" than rely on an app that can be hacked.

I’m in the US with a 2022 Defender 110, I just got an email to renew what’s called “Online Pack”, the annual subscription fee is $160.00. I was kind of on the fence but at slightly over $13/mo I’m ok with it so I’ve renewed it for one year.
