Suggest trying for a "Goodwill Adjustment" at your JLR dealer. If that doesn't work go directly to JLR since it's a known issue - at a minimum I would hope they would step up for partial coverage.

Tried that. Called JLR customer care. Told them of my many new and CPO (and used private party) Land Rovers I’ve bought over the years. Denied.

Well technically they said I could take it to the dealer, who would confirm the condition. Then re-contact them. Which I did and they still said denied so I wasted an hour to swing through the service line.

Customer service on luxury brands has gone to hell post pandemic. No one “takes care of things” anymore.

I still love Land Rover, and the brand is close to my heart. But I do not understand why they don’t push this cost entirely back on the crappy supplier who makes these headlamps. I don’t expect JLR to pick up the tab (labor is like what... 10 mins)... but if a customer has a burned out lamp with 25,000 miles on the car (which it was) and 4 years, 2 months, they should absolutely make that supplier pay for it and handle the repair.

Thats the price for the folks who won’t spend 30 seconds on Google.

$370 replacement or $2.38 repair is my experience.

But I suspect you didn’t come here to actually garner any info. Your wonderfully additive post history speaks volumes.
