Default Dealer pricing 2025 top spec ? 130 V8's

Anyone seeing or getting 5-10% anywhere on 2025's with 2026 incoming even though they will say stock is hard to get and slow to come due to hacking, tariffs, etc, etc ? In the past I have often negotiated at least that much on high end models, even 20% a couple times on pricey Audi and G class.

The ones I'm looking at sticker around $125k so as a relatively "reasonable" discount, I'd be shooting for 110-115. I am a long long time owner FWIW but also have a nice $2000 "Conquest" trade-in credit. To me that is not part of the discount, but rather it simply adds to my trade value.
They have a little strength here in WA state with a new 2026 "luxury tax" of an additional 8% on any amount over 100k.

Yet, LRNA just started one of those 3.9% for 60 months offers which just tells me they aren't moving enough of the 2025 stock hanging around coming into winter.
I may not finance any of it but I don't know if that helps my negotiation or not. At most it would be less than 50%

Generally, paying cash isn't helping your case. Dealer makes a kick back on the financing... so to not finance is taking money out of their pocket. That said, take the loan, pay it off within 3-6 months if the few hundred in interest you'll pay is a reasonable cost to you. I know the dealer would rather give you a steeper discount and you finance, rather than you pay cash and no discount.

I'm just guessing, but I don't think you are going to get 10 to 15k off right now. JLR is just getting up and running again, it's still a popular vehicle, tariffs take a nasty bite that hasn't fully been folded in yet, and so on.

When I bought my D90 (ordered new), I paid cash at list price without any added fees and with zero wrangling or hassles. I was fully satisfied with that experience.

I think you're entirely correct on this. Might be different a year or two out.

I felt lucky to get $500.00 off MSRP when I ordered mine. Granted I took delivery in January 2021, and the Defender was in high demand, but still. I also paid in cash, but I did add on an interior protection package added a little over a grand to the price, and luckily it paid for itself.

You can definitely get some decent incentives on Defenders, but I've never seen more than around $5k off.

If I were to go for a 2025, right now I have access to either the $2000 "loyalty credit" or the "conquest credit" which is also $2000.
I think, maybe, 2026 will also allow the loyalty though I don't recall if that aspect was verified.
It is my opinion that they should allow both together !

In recent years we've not heard of much discounting off list for LR products. 2-4pc seems to have been the upper end. I got 4pc off the Discovery 6 yrs ago, partly as a regular customer of the dealership. For the Defender last year we saw about $1000 off sticker. But that offset about $1000 of 'extras' we didn't want anyway. And most seem to sell at msrp

Let us know how you get on!
