Apparently the D90 P300 is being discontinued?

Just an FYI in case you’re awaiting a build in this combo. No word yet on the D110 P300, if those go then the white steelies likely go with them which would be a shame.

 

Its seems that USA and Canada only still have P300 2.0 on configurator for both 90 and 110, just spot checked UK, Brazilian, mexican and south african sites, no 4 cyl petrol option.

 

Actually Polish LR site has P300 and any possible engine configuration, but Austrian is not.
Seems that engine options are really fragmented,

Even if JLR decide to replace the 4 cilinder P300 for the six it will increase weight and price.
In Europe the P300 is discontinued for over a year now ( exept Swiss and Poland)
The P400e is by far the most populair here, it uses ironicly the 4 cilinder...

 

Shame if this was the case. Still the best engine choice imo. It is surprising how different markets get different options. Since we have no diiesels here in the states, the 4cyl petrol is still available. However, currently dealers are saying that if u want one, it will be next model year. If u want a defender sooner, get a p400.
