For some reason, using both the key fob and/or the door handle button to lock my vehicle, often times when I return to my Defender it is unlocked. Thankfully I live in a 'low crime' area (an oxymoron in California!) but still, it's annoying. When using the key fob, often times I will press the lock button twice to ensure the vehicle locks are engaged. The vehicle is not unlocking when I approach the vehicle; I can see in plain sight that the vehicle is already unlocked (the side mirrors are not retracted). Monitoring the 'lock & alarmed' status on my mobile phone is not an option as I don't bring my device when I paddle or into yoga.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Is there a work around for this?? I've owned my Defender since 2020, I love the vehicle and have had a great ownership experience so far; at some point this is going to bite me in the ***.
