I mistakenly put 90 100% ethanol free in my Defender today. Caught myself after 10 gallons and stopped.

Bummer too cause I had a 40cents discount my grocer offers. And I wasted the discount on a 1/2 tank of the wrong fuel. Doh!

 

I would have just finished filling it.

 

Where do you find ethanol free gas? Haven't seen that in years.

 

I ran into some on my road trip to South Dakota last summer. I think it was SD, Nebraska, and maybe even Iowa? I also ran into a gas station that didn't have premium (pretty rural - only had 87 and diesel). I just continued on for a while longer. Also filled up with 1/2 tank of 89 in Ohio because I ended up at a station that was out of premium. Figured the previous fill with 93 was a solid offset.

 

Randall’s is a grocery store that has gas too. When you shop there they give you $.10 off every gallon for every $100 you spend there IIRC.

well they just redid their gas pumps and now only carry 87 85%ethanol, and then 90 0%ethanol. It’s a super odd combo to only carry…
