Default Defender L663 Engine Block Heater

Hi, Does anyone know if the car can be fitted with an engine block heater?

I believe. I'm sure it's an option or even standard in Canada. On my build list (US spec) there is a line item, "043BC LESS Engine Block Heater".

I checked with the local (Vancouver) LR dealer. They replied, "My technician said it should be in the Defender but we will need to confirm by looking underneath it and taking off the skid plate." and "If there is one, you will need to purchase 2 cords to connect it."
I have also checked the workshop manual. There is no information about the Engin Block Heater. It is weird the LR technician doesn't know the exact information about the block heater nor the official workshop manual.

I'm surprised the cold weather package doesn't include one. I guess when execs in the UK or NJ think "cold weather" they are thinking -5C or 25F and chilly on the way to go skiing - not -40 on the Dempster Highway or a night drive between Edmonton and Calgary in February.

It would certainly be on my list of things to add

While we're at it, I shouldn't have to order the cold climate package for the 3 days a year I need a heated steering wheel in Florida.
