Default Defender parts online

I either had a steel wheel center cap pop off over the past day or two or someone popped it off.

Has anyone ordered parts from this place before?

I may just end up going through the dealer but it would be nice to have another option for misc stuff like this.

Hi, have not ordered parts from there, but did get some from https://lrparts.net/ in the UK. Even with shipping costs the prices were good and they had several parts not available locally as well.

For $12 bucks, I would just go for it! I take a bigger risk with random ebay sellers than that. If you wanted to pay 17 pounds, PowerfulUK will nail it. But for that part and that price, heck - R&D it for us and let the rest of us know. I took a gamble with West Palm LR on an undershield and WOULD NOT recommend them due to communication issues/shipping problems. For $12 just go for it.

Not trying to be flippant or rude, it's just that there's not much downside and they sound legit as a they are a Parts Dept of a Dealership. The worst that can happen is that it will take a while for them to give a crap, I mean ship it. If you want fast guaranteed shipment, go with PowerfulUK and if they don't deliver it in a week, I'll pay for it! (jk)

I've ordered from various US LR parts sites and haven't had any issues. myroverparts.com usually has good prices but I just search the part # and find the best price. They vary wildly between sites.

Example: Raised air intake. Part # VPLEP0435

Prices at time of posting:

Lucky8: $748
https://parts.landrovercary.com: $788
https://parts.landroverparamus.com/: $676

Thanks for the replies. The 'parent' site appeared to be https://www.landroverpartscounter.com/ I was going to give them a try but when I got through the checkout to the point where credit card info needed to be input the shipping was $8 with estimated eta Oct 18th. So I bailed.. I dunno, seemed like quite a wait and USPS is a nightmare waiting to happen.

Instead I sent the part # to my sales guy at the dealership and he ordered it for me right away at the msrp. I'd rather go that route to be honest, one because my LR dealer hasn't really done me wrong on anything yet. When I ordered the deep-sided rubber mat set they had it there the next day. It's probably a throw-in for shipping with other parts they need asap from wherever the supplier is. The other thing is i'm just uneasy sometimes submitting my CC info to these websites, when they have all of these alias URLs it raises the shady factor IMO. Maybe some other time.

The website looks sketchy to me -- particularly after being trained by the feedback on the situation that one on this forum suffered regarding their auto purchase.

I have not been disappointed by myroverparts.com which is the internet site of Land Rover Wilmington, in Delaware. Very good prices and delivery.

Also, Land Rover Fairfield in CT has provided good prices and delivery.

I have also ordered and received good service form Land Rover Cary in NC.

But myroverparts.com is my first choice ....

Enjoy !

I purchased mud flaps and air compressor from paramus as they were the best pricing including shipping. I tried to order the cross bars from them but they would not ship them some reason. I used their pricing to get my local dealer to drop down on pricing a bit Ironically they just gave me the cross bars in the box they were shipped in. I would order from Parmus again. Their parts department replies to emails very quickly.
