Defender window deflectors
Folks,
The other day in pouring rain, I had to use the windshield and climate defrost due to important fogging inside.
If I had window deflectors, I could have cracked open a window to clear the fogging.
With this said, on my Jeep I had weathertec in-channel deflectors but removed them cause they were causing the mechanism to force the window closed due to tightness.
While the in-channel deflectors look much better/cleaner that the stick-over ones, are there any that work perfectly without the strain on the wimdow motor as the window closes into its top channel ????
What are you folks using and do you recommend ?
Make and pics would be great.
Thank you much for any input.

Fogging is cleared with a/c/
Deflectors will be noisy, after 110 km/h they do add considerable noise (I have extra pillar strips from aliexpress to reduce noise).
I do have a set of heko, they stay OK don't even use their clips. But I kept the rear ones only and removed front ones.

Would have to agree with TeddyG. Using the windshield defrost/defog mode will clear the windows in a fraction of the time that cracking the windows will. Hitting the defrost/defog button kicks the system into high gear, clearing the windows in seconds instead of minutes by drying the air and removing the moisture. Opening the windows when raining just lets more moist air in.
For what its worth, I had a set of inchannel ones. And they just introduced too much wind noise. I eventually took them off. I suspect the one ones you stick on the exterior of the body would do much better for wind noise, but, I hate that stick on look. So never tried those. I still have the set sitting around my garage somewhere. Everytime it rains I wish I had them as I like having the windows cracked. But, its either noise all the time, or having to keep the windows closed when its raining.
Update: I have yet to purchase any window deflectors. However we do have 2 puppies now and the wind buffeting annoys them a lot with their sensitive ears.
I am now officially on the market for deflectors and NEED them for the pups and myself.
I would like deflectors that cancel the buffeting I’m talking about. The only must, is that they are clear deflectors rather than just non see through plastic.
Any old or new advice requested.
PS. My Defender is fully geared as in the picture, so normal ‘’Shhhhhhhhh’’ wind noise is not an issue.
