Fortune Creek Trail in WA. Things got a bit rockier than I liked. With the OEM Goodyears, 20" wheels, solo and a long way from anywhere, I decided to only tackle the lower half. Still a fun trip, even managed to lift a couple of wheels. Can't wait to tackle this track again when I have 18's and some better rubber. A really beautiful area.

Nice morning for a hike so I got up before dawn and had the trail and peak to myself.

A little fire road action to shorten the hike from 10 to 7 miles and power-line detour on the way back to add some fun. Bash plate got a little platonic kiss.

Some autumnal hues starting to appear.

A fun way to round out the long weekend yesterday, exploring the myriad of trails near Stampede Pass WA. As dusty, and dry as it gets for this area. Had a blast with a mate and my kids doing some skeet and target shooting.

The Defender opens up so much terrain in which to play. My buddy has been thinking about getting a Bronco for some time. He seemed to enjoy the ride in the Defender.

Here we are packed for a college move-in road trip through the urban jungle on Sunday.

Rather than getting damaged off road (like many of the pics above), ours got dented by someone parked next to us carelessly unloading dorm stuff.

@PaulLR I'm very envious of your garage height. I barely squeak into mine with my ski-rack on.

I'm a fan of the hitch carrier. A very useful addition.

8' garage doors were a priority when we built the house. Still need to remember to put it in access height when coming home. The box would scrape in normal height.

Hitch carrier works great since the Defender rear door just clears it when the carrier is empty. I didn't have to use the swing-out Rack Attach.

In the Okavango Delta 3 weeks ago. Also managed to do a rather deep water crossing. Hope I am allowed to share this link as I don't know how to post a video here:

Finally made the Imogene run. Tried last year but the pass was closed.
