They are reddish orange at best, but in most lights photograph red. "L'orange" is the color name regardless

I don't agree. The L'orange as on yours is more muted. Aftermarket addition is also evident by the absent rear recovery eyes in the same color. This is a lower spec than X.

What a peasant!

Also no black hood. Doesn't look X

Other than the sad 22" rims I like it. A nice pop of color.

The calipers are from factory because my wife has a white one with those calipers as well. Hers gets used as a daily driver the majority of the time but it is awesome when driving on dirt roads.

For the record I ended up getting one myself because she didn’t want anything to happen to hers when I drove it 😂. I can’t wait to get mine dirty.

The plough team were on form today. Who needs snow mode?

Saw another Tasman and white-roofed Defender on my way home today. Smiles and waves all round. Fun stuff.

Went out this past weekend with a New Defender friend to the La Dee Flats OHV area which is about 1 hr outside Portland OR near Estacada, OR which I'd never tried. Fun stuff. I'd say this place is an easy to moderate area without snow, and with current snow conditions, it was... moderate bordering on difficult.

Early morning meeting in town (I'm the one on the right)

Brief stop to take care of a nail in a 35" (how awesome is this rig!)

Staging area. Conditions at low elevations dry and gorgeous.

35's, a 2" body lift, 1" rod lift -- this thing is the best looking Defender I've ever seen!

Took the Labrador instead of the Bloodhound today. Pro: He doesn't run off into the woods. Con: He hates being bounced around.

Parked for lunch in what we came to know was "a swamp"

Leaving Lunch. Had no idea we were about to be very ... very stuck.

Little did we know it was a swamp covered in 3 feet of snow. I couldn't get out. Other guy did!

WELL stuck here.

Gen 1 4-Runner pulled me out w/ kinetic rope. I had aired down to 20-21 PSI. Clearly not enough. Still a bit worried about de-beading these silly 20's though... I have yet to go below 20 psi. Next time I'm trying 15-16 psi on snow.

Gen 1 4 Runner to the rescue

Airing back up.

I could stare at this bullbar for days

Proper mud on the new bullbar

My D2 was unhappy when I got home that he had to sit it out.

Post trail lunch in NE Portland @ Cafe Nell after a very half-*** pressure wash job

@nashvegas
Epic looking day of fun. I'm sure the winch was put to good use. Snow this time of year is no joke as I learned last May. The lifted Defender on 35"s is a beast. MC really has put that together well. Very jealous.

Gave the lo-range a spin today.
A little fun on a forest track this morning. Nice spot to pop a chair, crack a beverage and read a book.
