A fun overnighter with the young'ns

New bash plate retained its virtue for now.

A very challenging track up to this alpine lake at about 5650'. An absolutely magic, moonless night, deep in the mountains lent itself well to a night hike up to a ridge with 360 views.

Campsite down there

The last few rays of evening sun.

Some smoke blew in from the North for the return leg.

E rated LT tires and Tuffants are doing well.

New member here. Just got back from a trip to Colorado. Alpine Loop (first two photos) and then Silverton to Ouray (California Pass, Hurricane Pass, Corkscrew Gulch). It was a blast. Jeepers and Toyota drivers seemed surprised to see a Defender out there.

Cinnamon Pass

Engineer Pass

Corkscrew Gulch

Hugha, we have done exactly that every year since 1986; live in Albuquerque. Will be back there mid-September. Since 2006, we’ve done it in a Hummer H2. We are both looking forward to trying all of the “technology” in our 130. Gr8 pics!

Short camping trip to the coast. Weather was much nicer at the beach and no smoke either. Made for a nice three day trip.

Final camping of the summer. Defender towing a camp trailer again. Fun weekend with mates. Riverside camping and some hiking. Explored some random track to see where it would lead after my original planned route was closed.

Took it to Peters Mill Run trail in Virginia, last weekend. 5 days old, seemed like as good as time as any!
