Just back from 10 days journey to Moab --> Canyonlands & The Needles --> Manti- La Sal National Forest --> Natural Bridges --> Canyonlands The Maze. Trip of a lifetime. Have never seen anything like this land. Awesome. I have lots of learnings should anyone want to visit these spots ask away but here are a few pics.
Our rigs walked up obstacles that other quite capable rigs took hours to get up. Tire placement. Proper lines. Great spotting with combo of hand signals and radios.. Great mates. These L663’s are amazing vehicles.
We had 2x L663 (both Portland, OR based) and a Disco2 (Seattle guy but the car stays in Park City) in the group.
I’m the grey/black 110 X.
Lockhart Trail / Lockhart Road (waypoint #10 on Trails Offroad for anyone familiar... oy vey). Winching the D2 Tying the other L663 to mine to winch the D2 up Obstacle 10 of Lockhart Trail The 3 Amigos (but not of the D2 type...) For anyone wondering, Elephant Hill in Canyonlands Needles District is possible in L663. The Devil’s Passage **IS** just barely wide enough. About 1.5” on either side with mirrors folded. VERY tight. There is a 30 degree down slope on this trail. Very exciting. First night camp site. Grilling The rear table is invaluable Kitted out w/ fuel and trash

wow wish I could’ve tagged along. Thank you for sharing this with us. I look forward to doing this trail on our way to Alaska next year.
I can't tell you guys how jealous I am of not only you west-landers having so much available public land to explore but also the availability to do so. It seems every weekend for the past 3 years I've been busy doing ... something... other than finding dirt and rocks with my tires and its getting wearisome.
