Long Canyon trail in Moab. Got the first scratches from a couple pretty large drops at the first part of the trail. Unfortunately, no pics as the wife wasn't pleased. Bottomed out the front bumper even in high mode. Rain had washed out the road and created the drops. I think I needed a solid 2" more height.
On the east coast my coil-sprung 110 scrapes a bit. At some point I’ll bite the bullet and get Ralf Sarek’s 2” longer springs. Moab surely has even bigger ups and downs.
Powerful UK posted a video this week showing that dropping to 18 psi costs you 3cm of height. That’s more than an inch of lost clearance. (They used all season tires; stiffer AT sidewalls might not squish as much, but it’s still an issue).
Did the 110 scrub bad at the washed area close the trail entry from Potash?
We took the chicken path to the left. No scraping.
For the return, we drove Shafer road back to potash. Towards the end there was a large mud hole that also required another chicken path but that one was a bit more challenging.

lol, chicken path 🤣 I’d refer to those paths as wise or smart paths. Driving straight into a damage prone trail isn’t the smartest move to make unless you drive a vehicle that you don’t care about or that is built specifically for that purpose.
Dad went to Fraser Island for a few days. I didn’t go but he isn’t on the forum so I figured I’d post up the photos. Not too intense but still fun. Very embarrassed he used the tow bar Shackel. So dangerous!
