Defender 2021 actually - but assume it will be the same..

I've seen replies and posts about working on vehicles and towing etc.. but just parking in a really tight space - swinging the driver's door open to navigate - it keeps doing the old auto hold and auto-parking brake thing - extremely annoying.
It keeps saying "close the door and put seat belt on", but this is about navigating off road in tight spaces..
Does anyone know how to disable the parking brake in this situation so you can actually manoeuvre the car around?
