Default EPB service mode via Gap tool

Greetings.
I am preparing to replace my rear brake pads and rotors. I can't get past the issue of getting the electronic parking brake into service mode. I've read many varying tips and tricks on how to do it without the GAP, which even then I'm not confident that I'd be doing it correctly.
So since I already have a GAP 4 tool, might as well us it. I powered it up this morning looking for the portal that would put it into service mode, and assumed it was on the first page menu under SERVICE, but alas, no mention of the EPB.
Can someone clarify how to use the GAP tool for this purpose. Assume I'm an idiot when you explain it, because I am.
Thanks
Pete

In the service menu, select the ABS module. You will see this image above. Choose go to service position and you're all set. Enjoy the disco ball of brake errors as you enter the mode. All normal.

More info here on the process for the rear pads.

Thanks Gavin very much.
i assume I’ll be using the “exit maintenance mode” once I’m finished?

No worries. Yes. Once you're done, you select exit maintenance mode.
