Default Folding mirrors

If this question has been answered, then I apologize for repeating it ( could not find it ... ): how to disable the mirrors from folding when locking the vehicle ? I really don't care much for this functionality and could not find a way to disable it. Any suggestions ?

Disable Folding Mirrors?

No, they cannot be disabled.

Well, I had the same issue, and the only way to disable them is to take it to the dealer. It can be done by the dealer, however, that will be permanent. LR should make this feature accessible by the driver.

I just deactivated mine. Unfortunately it completely deactivates them, but the constant folding while locking just drives me crazy. I have still not found a way to disable them just while locking. No ccf setting afaik. I tried a few different settings that could have done it, but it did not work.

I don't mind if completely deactivate this function, really. I hate this too - with passion. If JLR wanted to skimp on chips, this would have been a good place...
Can you share how it is done, or do I need a special tool ? or some one at the dealership with a heart ?

From the service manual. It's a dealer configurable setting.

It can easily be done at the dealership or anyone with the factory diag tools. Pathfinder or topix cloud. It is in the service menu under customer personalization features. There are a few other settings in there. This is not one of the features that require ccf editing, so should just require an appointment.
