Nicely done, I was thinking about doing something similar. Where did you source the slim LED units? Did you tap into the wiring for the two OEM light fixtures?

 

I think it looks very similar to ones I replaced in Macan (pretty common light unit on European cars) but audi/porsche lights has only 2 pins. I think if we find 3 pin version, it maybe cheaper solution.

I've used cheap Aliexpress 12V COB LED STRIPS IN METAL CASING.
These are described as WATERPROOF and sometimes referred to as a DRL.
They are hooked up to one of the side original lights - no CAN-BUS issues so far
