Thanks for the opinions everyone! My main concern was losing the storage space but it sounds like it's worth it.
Went ahead and added the lights and ice pack.

That was my concern with the fridge, as I know I'm rarely going to use it the space was more important. If 4 water bottles fill the fridge, I can check how much more space there is beyond 4 water bottles in my center console if you'd like.Originally Posted by _Allegedly

I agree with the lack of hidden storage. I don't have the fridge but if I were to lose this space under the armrest for my usual misc stuff, badge for work, tag for parking lot at work, travel tissue, napkins, reading glasses, pen, etc, I wouldn't know where to go with this stuff to keep it at arms length but out of sight. It's worth noting the glove box is a very long reach from the driver's side and the capacity there is also much less then it looks like it should be from the size of it from the outside, a lot less than for example my Q5 had. I have a pack of gum and the owners manual in the glove box, not room for much else in there. That's a glove box quite literally. Originally Posted by mgsp

I think 4 is okay because my weirdo wife likes it warm. I do appreciate the offer though. Thank you!Originally Posted by Iceman153

There are a plethora of little “buckets” that fit in the space under the shifter, to corral things a little better and hide them because they have sides. Here’s one on Amazon.Originally Posted by Chief65

Just to second the majority of comments - we have the fridge on ours and I’d spec it again. I use it almost every day, keep 4 seltzer’s and some cliff bars in there for snacks. There is enough storage with the huge dash tray, including behind the screen for anything you don’t want visible. Plus the open center console holds a plethora of items as well.

Very cool, thank you for that, its a good find! I ordered one. It's not entirely keeping stuff out of sight but IMO will definitely improve the situation. Right now I have my car wash tag sitting underneath that area and even that looks not so good when I open up the door to get in or to show someone else the interior. The dash tray can be used I suppose to set something on there for a day trip but I wouldn't want anything sitting on there every day personally. Same for behind the screen, it's a space to be sure (in a pinch) I can't think of anything I would want to leave stuffed behind it while daily driving though. A pair of work gloves maybe. With that said it's good to have the space available when you need it and I think as time goes on I'll find more ways to make use of these areas.Originally Posted by NoGaBiker
