Front lights acting wacky
He's done a pretty good job documenting taking them apart and replacing the failed (i.e., burnt out) module with an aftermarket one. Give the forum a search and you'll find it along with others who have documented how they did it and which vendor they chose to purchase the replacement module. It's a very common issue...one that's as good as guaranteed to happen with sufficient time, so the information out there is aplenty.
I bought a DRL module shipped for under $3. The remaining cost is sealant. It’s a spare as I also got a replacement for $370. I wasn’t sure I could repair it so now I have a spare headlight for whenever that side fails again.
