Default Gap IID Lowering

Hello Everyone, I have done some research and to my understanding the GAP IID can lower or raise the car 32mm. For anyone that has been using this feature on the GAP IID is there any rubbing if lowering the car 32mm lower than access height just to be able to get the car into the garage with the roof rack, is there going to be any rubbing? I am running 275/55/20 tires, In addition is anyone running extended wheel arches with spacers does it rub then?

Thank You!

I do this. and run this size winter tire (31.9" 275/55 R20). I stay pretty much straight so front wheels are not going to rub when I'm on the bump-stops. GAP ca lift it more than 32mm btw. I have 3 lift settings. 1" 1.5" and Max lift.

I have extended wheel arches, irrelevant to the question at hand.

Spacers will always reduce clearance at lock but I don't steer much if at all when lowered to the minimum height. I also do this running 32.6" tires. I do not run spacers.

Wow thanks so much for the insight, exactly what I needed. Do you notice the wheels are super sunken in and a bad look while running the extended wheel arches without spacers or not bad at all.

Thank You

To my eye. Not bad at all on OEM rims but it's very subjective. Personally I don't like the idea of running spacers for a number of reason but sometimes it's needed to fit very much wider tires. 315 aspect ratio 35" require spacers.
OEM rims offset +41.5
OEM rims offset +41.5
Aftermarket rims Offset +29
Aftermarket rims Offset +29

Where did you get the +/- 32mm? As others have said, absolutely not the case. The CHCM ECU which controls the EAS has internal limits, but you'll run into other issues long before that.
All that said, 32mm is a relatively safe lift to avoid problems and still keep your suspension geometry relatively sane.

I was testing the GAP device today, I tried lowering the over all suspension to sit on bump stops on access mode, the car wont let me do it. I assume this is the incorrect method to go on bump stops, rather the proper method is going into height adjustment every time pulling up to the garage and lowering to bump stops is that correct?

Thank You

Go into height control/ height adjust setting (can't remember which is which as I always mix them up) and just click the box to drop to the bump-stops. It will ask you to OK the operation and warn you to be cautious if you're running bigger tires. Then down it drops and once it stops flashing red and goes white, you're all set.
