Default Getting OEM Accessory Fenders to match my Defender X

Just wondering if anyone had tried to get someone to paint the OEM fender flares to match the trim on the X. I got the factory satin flim which, surprisingly, doesn't cover the hood if you get it on the X...but does if you get one with a body colored hood, anyway. Off-handedly I'm guessing they would have to be sanded down to get rid of the texture, then painted and allowed to cure a month, then satin protection film applied like I have to the rest of the gloss black portions of the rocker panels and bumpers. Considering the effort involved, I'm leaning towards leaving as is but I love the look with the flares.

The fenders have to be sanded then sprayed with high fill primer. The primer then need to be sanded again to smooth and then sprayed with color and clear coat. Since paint often has trouble adhering to these textured surfaces (even if they are prepped properly) it’s best to wrap them with a PPF (xpel, stek, etc). IMHO I’d only install the flares on an X if they are painted. The matte textured plastic looks awful next to the other painted black trim pieces. Snorkel seems to be the only exception as if somehow looks ok by itself.
