Has anybody removed or considered removing the hood decal on the defender? The dealer told me it can be removed but I'm concerned that the paint underneath may be damaged.

 

Got a pic you can throw up? I wouldn’t attempt it myself but a shop that does vinyl wrapping may have the tools/technique to do it safely.

 

 

Id imagine its put on post paint so a little heat, take your time and it should come right off.....

 

Tried to post a pic but didn't work. It's the standard hood decal that is offered as an option. Have no intention of doing it myself but the dealer said their detail department could do it and assured me there would be no issue but they also say a lot of things when they're trying to sell you a car.
