Heads up display
Folks,
Is the hardware for the heads up display all there and just needs to be activated like it’s the case for quite a few other options like adaptative cruise control etc… ?

Hahaha! No sir. You need at a minimum:
Complete nightmare really.
- New upper dashboard
- HUD unit in the dashboard
- New windshield. HUD windshields are different, projects on the windshield.
- Entirely new Dash/Fascia harness. # 13710 on this diagram - https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic...nd/land-rover/ -- The harness is specific to the options on the vehicle. If you don’t have the option, the plugs aren’t there for the option.
Complete nightmare really.

Wow, thanks. The Defender is completely fine without it, but it’s the only option I was interested in and that I don’t have. Thanks for the reply 👍
