I have the deployable sidesteps on my 110CE. They're great can't see them when retracted, and can be controlled by the PIVI infotainment.

I originally purchased aftermarket steps from Amazon for $400. They looked identical to the OEM sidesteps. The quality was just not there. See my review on Amazon: https://shorturl.at/FzBfx Although they were packed well they arrived damaged and the mounting brackets were wrong (the four brackets were the same and the holes did not line up). Other vendors may have a better product.

Damaged ends

Brackets didn’t fit correctly I returned them and purchased the Land Rover OEM steps. Although they were three and a half times the Amazon price (I did get a 18% discount through Land. Leeping Genuine British Parts) it was worth it to me. The brackets were labeled left front, right front, left rear, and right rear. This allowed a perfect fit. The tubes are beefier and the step frame is cast metal rather than plastic.
If you do go aftermarket shop around and check out their reviews.

Here are my installed OEM sidesteps

I had fixed side steps installed by the dealer. Much more expensive then what I had on my build for the 2024 D110 X I had on order. $4400 installed at the dealer vs I think it was $1300 or $1800 to have them port installed with my order. I definitely wanted side steps and the extra cost to have the dealer install them was fine with me. I don't know, I feel like if you're already spending a lot of money for a vehicle, I don't want to skimp out by installing cheap (inferior quality) aftermarket parts.

I put on a set of all black AM steps but the sides of the step parts looked sandblasted after 6 months. Went for OEM after. At least they have a warranty.

I don't want to be that guy but are you saying you paid $4400 for those? I got mine for $1049 from Rovers North and they are fantastic.

Yes I did. Do I think it was a lot? Yes, but I wanted to have them installed at the time of delivery so they were
covered under the warranty. Plus I didn’t want to bother with installing myself.
