Default Here is what I learned on my 50 mile ride home in my new Defender

- Actually, before my ride I was surprised to see that the lower side panels are painted, not matte black plastic. That will save a lot of 303 Protectant.
- Miss my LR4 V8 growl a little, but the P400 is plenty powerful.
- On road handling and ride are exceptional. Makes my LR4 feel old.
- Pivi Pro is fast, way faster than whatever infotainment system is in the Velar loaner I recently had.
- Feels very well built and solid.
- Too bad it's supposed to snow more. I'd rather drive the Defender than my LR4 with winter tires.

Congrats, looks a bit like mine I picked up from my dealer 4 days ago. It’s a D300 and this engine is powerful as well. Completely agree with your statement about the pivinpro as I came from the Velar as well 😂

Is that an X-Dynamic, PaulLR
If so, any chance of interior pictures?
Closeups of the fabric.

Rad. I take it no brake issues? I'll post some photo's of my more urbanized version in a few days

Sure, here you go...
If you are new to Land Rover, know that they build extremely durable seats. The leather seats in my LR4 look new after 7 years and 130K miles. Any Audi I owned had wear spots or cracks in the leather after a few years. With leather in the middle and the durable synthetic material ("Robustec"?) around the edges, the Defender seats look really durable.

Really nice rides guys! Enjoy.
have one just like that. Been absolutely smitten with it. My first Land Rover. Came from a Land Cruiser. The Defender drives and looks much better imo.
