no worries Mark. There’s an issue here in the U.K. with ringing of stolen vehicles, that's why lots of vehicle ads don’t have the number plate on view or include the VIN.
Dang!! I ALWAYS forget to switch to a non-us ebay TLDs. Good advice there.
I've started to gather parts for ClearView. Been watching the eDiff, but most of the folks breaking up totaled Defenders want too much for those parts. I'll try different TLD's there too! However, the backstop has always been that I'll eventually be pinging Mo. If he's not up to 22 yet (I'm sure you've read my whine were they F'd me by MY up me to 22 - thereby losing my eDiff & ClearView!), I may start looking for really good deals as it may be a little longer/higher risk.
I've been watching several Auction houses (mainly totaled vehicles) for Defenders. It doesn't take much to declare them "totaled". I'm convinced that if I ever need a front windshield - that's the route I'm going to take. In the 70's or 80's my uncle bought two Datsun pickup trucks. I think one was a salvage that he picked up later, but it was the same color. There weren't many options! For years, he would cannabalize parts from the one to keep the other running. Slowly it would "decay" as he took the tires, brakes, rotors, calipers, body panels, fuel filter, yada yada yada. I constantly visualize a parted out Defender in my barn to keep this one running! Fortunately, haven't needed any parts yet....other than an e-Diff/ClearView!

Grouse, with shipping I paid 2700.00 usd with no core charge for the ediff.
Ebay has it with 2k miles on it for 1999 with free shipping. It's the only one in the world available. I would consider it if you really wanted the ediff.....
