Default Iconnect or remote app- Signing Disclosure

Am I the only one that is not comfortable (after spending 45 minutes reading both the privacy and terms agreement) signing these agreements that grant every power and control of our vehicle and our driving habits and releasing and holding JLR harmless from any and all end results?

I realize that we live in a highly automated world and that we are subject to continuous monitoring from almost any activity online, but to gain a couple of convenience features for allowing so much benefit and control to JLR is not appealing to us.

Thoughts and comments appreiated.

Product liability laws and stupid people are the ones to blame.

I'm pretty sure that JLR has to operate under GDPR provisions. Just send them an e-mail that you want them to delete all of your personal, location, and all other tracking information. And then do it again after a few weeks/months. They likely don't have any easy interface to do it online (like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc) so it becomes something that their IT teams have to do manually. The LOE to do it will be far more than the info that they gain PLUS they have to wipe all the info you ask them to.
