...and found out Dilbert somehow mounted the 1/4" tape with both sides pink (yes, front facing pink) instead of only a layer inside to peel off, perhaps use a low heat gun, etc.

I am thinking that my only option is to scrape it off and replace it with 3M exterior 1/4" tape.

I looked and just shook my head since I have the standard grid to place overall, properly ready to mount.
