Default Interior Ambient Lighting colors

Just found out that the ambient lighting of my defender now changes colors like my Range Rover did. Is this from the last software update or did I just overlook it? My salesperson said that blue was the only color and I thought that was strange when she told me. Was she right or is this just new?

There is a premium cabin lighting option that is part of the comfort and convenience pack for the 2021 models

The optional Premium cabin LED lighting color/hue and intensity have always been customizable from the vehicle settings, since the very introduction of the new Defender (along with many other LR models) - if you paid for that option of course. Over time, you figure out that 99.9% of the info you receive from your average Land Rover salesperson (if there are exceptions out there, I have still to run into one) is only partially accurate, often misleading and sometimes made up on the spot, so they sound knowledgeable instead of admitting they just don't know. It's pretty pathetic.

I left mine blue because I actually prefer it, but there are at least a half dozen distinct colors to choose from.

I have my 2021 X-Dynamic HSE on order (delivery in April). I was told that due to supply chain issues, the wait would be longer if ordering the Comfort and Convenience Package. Knowing I use my center console for storage, I am fine doing without the refrigerator. I would prefer the Premium Cabin Lighting but the ability to change colors isn't all that important. My question: with the non Premium Cabin Lighting, do you have all of the same lights except they do not change colors or does the Premium Cabin Lighting have lighting in additional spots within the interior of the vehicle?

Thanks!

I am not sure what areas are illuminated if you don't order the ambient lighting. In my 2020 110 (with the Premium Cabin Lighting), the areas that light up in color and can be changed in hue and brightness include pull handles and storage pockets of the 4 doors, the deep well in the front console (where the USB ports for Android Auto / Apple CarPlay are located) and the entire width of the dashboard.

This is correct, but then there are areas that only illuminate white too.
