The wood ones (oak and walnut) are real wood. It’s veneer, like most furniture finishes and like practically every luxury car out there. But it’s attached to a plastic underlay for structural purposes.
For 10 years I had a 1968 Cadillac DeVille 472 convertible, which I sold in 2018. It had door and console trims that were literally furniture-grade plywood. The finish was shoddy when I bought it so I pulled them out and sanded and refinished just like an old side-table. Stained and varnished and it turned out great. But I don’t think anybody’s made a panel like that in a long time.
If anyone has a set of OEM wood trim, I would love to upgrade my HSE which just came with the standard pleather finish on the center console. Really adore how the wood looks!

Appreciate it, I am after the lighter color trim. I am not sure what it is called but the gentleman above posted pictures of it prior to replacing it with carbon. That is the color and finish I am after, such a lovely touch!

The links I attached above are the same trim pieces that were swapped in the first post on this thread. It is the Rough-Cut Walnut veneer. I have it in my car, and the color changes slightly depending on the light as you can see in the photos I have attached below.
I just bought the wood trim for my black Interior (75th). I do not personally prefer wood trims usually but I really like wood trims on LRs.
Especially on my 75th limited, I like the contrast between exposed green exterior color inside of my car with walnut trim (even though it's black interior). And hoping to add more of 'heritage' feel with wood trims.
So far, I installed just door handle only. If I remove E-Torx 11 seat bolts and laying back, everything else will be more straight forward?
What I saw was: remove exposed Torx on the trims and plastic trims are secured with only clips. If you dont mind, can you please confirm?
Thanks,
