Default Interior Lighting Question

My wife is loving her '23 Defender 110SE, however, she has no interior lights when you open the door. This is concerning at night since she cannot see inside the vehicle. I've looked through every setting imaginable and cannot figure out how to get these lights to come on. My '23 110CE has great interior lighting.
Any ideas?

Jim

Try pressing the center light lens (which is a button -- there are 3 up top on the upper console) until the interior lights all blink on and off. It should work. Probably a 2-3 second HOLD on the button to do this. Perhaps they are deactivated (which is achieved by pressing that center light button until they blink to turn off) .

This was the case with the lights inside my wife’s defender. I thought it was designed this way but the dealership fixed it quickly.

Must be something with wives and interior lights in the defender. My wife's Defender was doing the same thing until I learned the press-and-hold light operation.
