Yes it does and has locking diffs standard. The only limiting factor is the tire size but I run stock size snows on it all year so it goes where ever I drive my Defender 90.

Very underrated since most AMG GLE coupe owners never drive off the highway intentionally .. and it will smoke the OCTA in the canyons..

You can find a very clean pre-owned AMG GLE for half the price of the OCTA

Rumor is dealers may be getting information on their OCTA allocation week of 9/16.

No word on when order window opens.

I am now hearing mid-week, next week. If they wait a few more months, it will be a 2026!

A $17,000 winch option?

Does that come with a support crew that follows you around when you are off-road and pulls the cable out when your half way up the doors in mud/water so you don't have to get your shoes dirty?

Wonder if the $600 OCTA mud flaps would be a direct fit to our non-OCTA plebeian Defenders.

I can almost guarantee you that they will not fit. These mudflaps are designed for the OCTA's 3" fender flares. If by some miracle they would fit, they would be sticking out significantly.

Makes sense, warranting a redesign.

I have a D90 with side steps strictly to get in the back seat, not a fan of side steps. My D110 does not have them, no problem. Does anyone the the 1.5” height increase on the OCTA will make a difference in getting in at access height?

Anyone out there who was on a list for an OCTA and actually got an allocation for the configuration they wanted?
I was on the list at two dealers for an Edition One as I wanted the Faroe Green (Carpathian would have worked too). Each dealer called me last week, one on Thursday and the other on Friday, and sadly at both dealers the few Edition Ones were snapped up by those higher on the lists but each offered me a standard OCTA. I ended up refusing both as I don't care for either the gold/copper color or the very brown hued grey on the standard OCTAs. As it is now left with both of them, if anyone on an Edition One later backs out to give me a ring.
