Hey all! I was just starting this thread to talk about software activations. I had several things activated remotely through www.jlractive.com. @GarrettSD was great to work with and the entire process only took a few minutes. I really enjoy the auto stop/start memory, as well as the Dynamic Mode activations. The Dynamic Mode makes a noticeable difference for the engine, transmission and steering, but the suspension is only marginally stiffer. Although, I only had the chance to drive it on smooth pavement since it was activated.

I also had ACC, trunk pop, high beams w/ fog lights, advanced tow assist, wi-fi hotspot and global close activated. If you guys want to have these activated and don't want to worry about bricking you vehicle with the GAP tool, I highly suggest going yo JLR Active!

We've never lost a vehicle yet. Quite the opposite, we've recovered vehicles that others have messed up using software and tools they didn't completely understand. And aside from having a CCF restore function in the IIDTool to avoid anything such as this happening, we support our products. Sorry, but a statement like that can leave a bad taste and is completely unwarranted.

Also, activations are just one component of what the GAP tool does for the customer

Inaccurately Comparing a once off service that you can match for a lot less coin, in minutes in the comfort of your own home, with a tool that is safe and provides so much more speaks volumes.

Not to mention the stellar customer support, and a well earned reputation.
