Your rig looks fantastic!
+16 is the equivalent of 25mm spacers which rubbed with 33” tires. I think that would be fine with 275/55 r20 or 285/55 r 20. Won’t work with 275/60r 20

I was present for both readings.

I found on the JohnsonRods website 3 different places on the main page they recommend getting an alignment done if you plan to run the lift full time.

Of course the choice is up to you. For me, it was worth the $100 or so to make sure the alignment was as neutral as it could be.

if you read my post, I said the alignment IS necessary. I just didn’t have the dealer do it. My independent shop did the alignment.

Default Proud rhino 1” and 2756020 tires

Would the PR 1 inch rods work on a set of 2756020 tires? I want to keep my stock wheels and get bigger tires without lifting the vehicle too much.

Default offset

i am running Black Rhino 20x8.5 et 10mm and it’s the perfect fitment. wheels slightly poke from my oem fender flares. i am running 275/55/20 K02 with PR 1 inch lift. i just installed the classic mudflaps today and didn’t even think i would run into issues. i haven’t put enough miles to know if i will have issues. going to suck if i got to take them off. going to need new side mounting pieces. you have to drill through them to install the flaps

i do rub only in reverse at full lock. i avoided the 33’s trying to stay away from any issues as others said it was fine with the 55 side walls but that was not correct.

a 20x9.5 et 16 is too aggressive. the extra inch width i believe gives you another 12mm in positive offset. you will be poking pretty bad

I have the Vossen HF+2 with 20 x 9.5" ET 25 specs and the Nitto Ridge Grappler 275/55/20 (P/N 217330) which measures 32.13 tall per their website all riding on the Proud Rhino 1.0" lift rods. I've had this combo now in several situations offroad and have had ZERO contact with anything on the vehicle rubbing wise.

I thought I would add mine to the 2" Proud Rhino examples. I just installed these this weekend, and put on 275/60 r20 XL Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock satin grey 5094 wheels. Sorry about the shadows my driveway sucks for pics, also this is offroad height. No rubbing even locked in at access height

JesseRohr - I really like your setup and plan to also get Vossens, 1" lift rods and Ridge Grapplers once my Defender is delivered in April. Couple questions...

1 - How far do your tires extend beyond the fenders? Do you have any concerns with rocks chipping your paint?
2 - I noticed you have the E rated Ridge Grapplers. How would you describe the ride? The Ridge Grappler comes in both an XL and LT in 275/55/20. I like the extra tread on the LT which you have but have been getting conflicting opinions on ride quality on a 10 ply tire.

The tires are virtually flush with the outside of the fenders. They don't really protrude past in any way. Especially so on the rear.
I have 1200 of the 1500 miles of my Rover on these tires, I think they ride wonderfully. Given the extra load rating I am able to run them at 35PSI which helps the ride tremendously.
